Hair designed and personalized?

What is a Personalized haircut?
Not everybody is the same and not hair is the same .
Your head shape, face features and hair texture is different from everyone else.
Most of the times your hair growth has a mind of it’s own.

A personalized haircut is basically a costume made cut with the right lines and angles to bring the best of your own features.
Also by having a personalized haircut, you will have a cut that will last longer than a non personalized cut.

The power of color.

Besides having a personalized cut, the power of hair color can enhance the best of your face , for example:

Shades of color can make your face look less round by adding low lights, to direct the eye away from the area, creating and optical illusion.
The same goes to adding highlights in the right places, it can enhance your eye color and even taking few years off your real age.

It works best if both of these techniques are applied. A designed costume cut and the power of color can create your own permanent piece of art around your face.
Just like the border of a picture frame can enhance the painting, the same way works for your hair.

Lost in a state of thought and dream.

By: Raul Da Luz

From the spanish sculpture Jaume Plesa, Echo is in Madison Square park in New York City.

There's an instant feeling of peace, the moment you stand in front of this sculpture and a feeling of deep serenity and surrender.

Echo represents a nine year old girl from the artist neighborhood in Barcelona, lost in a state of thought and dreams.
The girl or muse for this art form was discover in Catalonia, where Plesna discovered her.
She was born in Brazil and her mother is chinese.

The  sculpture piece also makes reference to an aspect of Greek mythology in which loquacious myth Echo is force to repeat only the thought of others.
Piesa's Echo become the new interpretation of a young girl's face in a state of deep conciouness and thought,  made into a physical monument of the deep voices within of all the people around it, when hundreds of visitors visit her at Madison Square Park.

No matter how stress you are, specially in New York City. Stop on your lunch brake and Echo will centered your thoughts the moment your eyes identifies the state of mind that we all have within.

Make me up the right way with your Brushes and palette!

What is the secret on make up?
What is the essentials on make-up?

I decided to ask a very talented Artist on Make-up:
D'angelo Thompson. Nominated for 2 Daytime Emmys for Guest Make Up and Hair. And Emmy winner  on June 17Th. 2011 .

Make up artist D'angelo Thompson and some of his muses

D'angelo and I have worked together,  in many projects and photo shoots in the past. And we have as well become friends.

Here goes some questions on make-up?

RD: What are the essentials on make up, that every woman should carry in her purse?
DT: I think every woman should carry a tinted lip conditioner, mascara and tinted moisturizer and buy multiples of everything!

The artist and his magic hands.

RD: What do you vision when you get a person for make up, What are you trying to achieve with your muse?
DT:I envision bringing out any woman/client best assets, my philosophy is there is something beautiful in EVERYONE!

RD: What colors do you see coming for fall?

DT: In most runway and ads for fall you see a muted palette and strong lined eyes-I suggest a bolder lip a signature color and more alluring eyes by using 3 coats of mascara and not necessarily lined!

Bastille day , and the love for all things in Paris

Bastille Day is the national French Holiday, that symbolizes the new republic and the end of the old monarchy.

Today I want to pay tribute to a city and to a culture, full of beauty and a sense of art in all things. From food , clothes, streets, and the romance that is in Paris.

 A treat, Kouignettes

 Notre Dame

You got to have a macaron

Even in the most common corner, you can find a beautiful picture.

Food, food, food.

The animal side of you

Leopard print is always in style, but not every girl knows how to properly incorporate leopard into their wardrobe.
The most common problem when it comes to wearing leopard is over doing it! Remember, less is more.
Leopard Print Coat: In order to make the coat pop you need to stick to a muted or single tone underneath. You can, however, mix and match prints. It won’t take away from the coat and creates a point of interest. This is also the type of look that works for both day and night.

Leopard Print at Work: When wearing leopard print in the workplace, make sure you tone it down. Keep accents simple and subtle so they don’t overpower your office mates. When wearing leopard at work remember: keep leopard tame, not wild! Stay away from patterns, embellishments or complicated details.
Leopard Cocktail Dress: Don’t go over the top. Leopard print is loud and seductive on its own so choose a sleek, modern silhouette to compliment your curves without showing off too much skin. Keep accessories simple and let the dress stand out. The rest of the look should enhance, rather than compete with the dress.
